Description

Towsure is a UK registered number plate supplier. By law, you will need to bring a form of ID confirming your name and address, and one document showing entitlement to use the registration number. Please bring one of each from the following when calling to have your number plates produced. We are unable to produce and/or supply plates without one document from each list:

Identity Document with Name and Address

ONE from the following

  • Driving licence
  • Utility bill or Council Tax bill dated within the last 6 months
  • Bank or Building Society statement dated within the last 6 months
  • National Identity Card

Proof of Entitlement to use the Registration Number

  • Vehicle Registration Certificate (V5C/V5CNI)
  • The green New Keeper slip from V5C/V5CNI
  • Certificate of Entitlement (V750/V750NI)
  • Retention Document (V778)
  • Vehicle Tax or SORN Renewal Reminder (V11/V11NI)
  • Temporary Registration Certificate (V739/V739NI)
  • Number Plate Authentication Certificate (V948) with Official DVLA Stamp
  • Electronic Number PLate Authorisation Certificate (eV948/eV948/2)
  • Letter of Authorisation from a Fleet Operator (including Lease/Hire Company)- quoting the document reference number from the vehicle registration certificate
    • If your fleet is in the V5C On-Demand scheme, a PDF of the vehicle details from the view vehicle record service on gov.uk
  • UK Trailer Registration Certificate (TTRC)
