The Renogy REGO 120W ShadowFlux Rigid Solar Panel provides a renewable energy source for compatible vehicle-mounted and off-grid solar systems. Designed for applications such as motorhome leisure battery charging, pickup and SUV canopy installations, or upgrades to an existing photovoltaic system, it combines high-efficiency cells with technology developed to improve performance in partial shade. Its rated maximum output is 120W under Standard Test Conditions; actual generation varies with sunlight, shading, temperature and installation conditions.

ShadowFlux Anti-Shading Technology

Improved performance when part of the panel is shaded

ShadowFlux technology is designed to reduce the impact of partial shading on solar generation, helping you make better use of available sunlight when part of the panel is obscured. Its anti-hotspot technology also helps reduce localised overheating, supporting stable operation and long-term durability. This makes the panel a practical option for installations where consistent, unobstructed sunlight cannot always be maintained.

High-Efficiency TOPCon Monocrystalline Cells

Efficient generation with reduced temperature-related losses

The panel uses 48 high-efficiency monocrystalline cells arranged in a 3 × 16 layout. Renogy specifies cell efficiency above 24.8% and an overall module efficiency of 20.7%. A maximum-power temperature coefficient of −0.29%/°C describes how rated power changes with cell temperature. The panel has an operating temperature range of −40°C to +85°C and a nominal operating cell temperature of 45 ±2°C.

Compact Construction and Outdoor Protection

Rigid aluminium frame with protected electrical connections

Measuring 1052 × 578 × 30mm and weighing 6.81kg, the panel combines a rigid anodised aluminium alloy frame with 1.5mm front glass. The junction box is rated IP67, while the MC4 connectors are rated IP68, providing protection against dust and water ingress at these components. Together, these construction features support use in outdoor solar installations while keeping the panel’s dimensions manageable for vehicle roofs and canopies.

Connections and Long-Term Warranty Cover

Pre-fitted cables and separate product and performance warranties

The panel is equipped with 600mm, 14 AWG output cables and solar connectors for connection into a compatible solar system. The MC4 connectors have a rated current of 30A, a maximum voltage of 1000V DC and a maximum cable size of 12 AWG. Their operating temperature range is −40°C to +85°C. Renogy provides a 5-year materials and workmanship warranty and a separate 25-year power output warranty, subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
